I am sure I am not the only one that does this,

After I wash and dry the car, saving the wheels till last I drive it around the neighborhood for a couple miles to dry out the brakes. then when I get back, the inside of the wheels are covered in rusty stains from the rotors. So I have to clean them again.

Fortunately I have the 20" Carrera wheels, so reaching in there is not too big of a problem. The bad thing is that you can SEE the inside of the wheels pretty easily. if you don't clean them, it just looks bad.

Anyone else? what do you do?

I don't worry about it because after a day of driving no matter how well I clean the wheels they start getting dirty again from the brakes. So I just clean them once when washing the car.

Try having black wheels and dealing with this ... ;p

I basically do the same -- not just for the wheels, but for the entire car -- but I only address the inner rim if I know it won't rain for several days. If I don't have the time or the opportunity to re-dry the car right after it's been washed, I'll follow up with waterless cleaner (almost always Optimum Opti-Clean) the next morning.

I also wax my wheels with wheel-specific polymer wax every four months or so; that helps cut buildup by about half.
