I’m typically a fan of clear side markers on most colors. But with red, the orange side markers blend in fairly well. Considering the clear ones. Has anyone with red put on clear side markers? If so I’d love to see a picture.
Also considering tinted film to go with the black and red theme since my wheels are black. Thx.

FWIW, Ithink the clear look better with any colour as they coordinate with the headlights.
Mine is Lava Orange, which is OK with the ambers, but I still like the clear ones better.

You all sold me on the clear!! Agreed it matches the headlights nicely. Off to Suncoast Porsche parts to order. ??
FWIW, I bought and returned the Suncoast lights for my Guards Red Cayman. I found there to be mostly black showing through the clear lens which chopped up the otherwise all red body panels front to back. I don't like the amber, but I find they don't catch my eye the way the "clear" side markers did.

Thx. This is helpful. The clear looks clean in comparison to the orange!
Glad it was helpful! Definitely in the eye of the beholder. I think the orange blends better (looks cleaner) in comparison!;)

The pics I posted earlier are with my winter tires and wheels. Here's one with my summers for an apples to apples comparison.

IMHO, particularly with the red brakes, I think the orange side markers help make the Porsche badge on the hood jump out visually. I've been thinking about this topic with my agate gray Cayman. I don't know why, but I expected it would come like the configurator showed it, with clear markers and no XM antenna on top. Duh! Anyway, even with everything being so dark on the car, I think that makes the badge jump even more with the orange side markers. So replacing them has become a lower priority.

... and a spot of color (amber) against a gray background (love AG by the way!) isn't a bad thing in my opinion.
