looks great and works got it from suncoast

but know before you buy it rattles and creaks noted when the top is up

took me a few days to figure out where it was coming from
the rest of the car is rock solid not a rattle anywhere except when I have a plastic bottle in the cup holder

Oh man, I couldn't stand that.
My home made one is a tight fit in the groove and doesn't make any sound--top up or down.
Maybe try a bit of tape on the edges that slot into the groove to tighten the fit.

yep exactly what ill have to do . little strip of electrical tape should do it I'm thinking just needs to be a mm thicker
I have had the Suncoast clear wind breaker on my 718 Boxster for about a year. No rattles. However, I wouldn't recommend electrical tape for the rattle. The heat from the sun will make a sticky mess. Try cloth or foam.

Sonny is correct, stay as far away from using electrical tape as you possibly can. It'll eventually make a horrendous mess & is possibly the worst tape you could choose. Try & find something along the lines of plastic or rubber edging trim if you can get anything thin enough. Alternatively pad it in a couple of places with adhesive felt pads or similar.
