My car was in the shop earlier this week for a fix for a broken tension cable.
I noticed that a loop of cord was hanging down on the passenger side and tried to just tuck it back in, but it kept coming out because it was broken.
Fixed under warranty, car kept overnight to order parts.
There is a tech bulletin out for this so I'm not the first.
Top seemed to work properly even as it was broken.
