(Not used in North America, which explains why I'm not familiar with the term ... our rough equivalent would be HD Radio)

I didn't know that it is not used in North America. I know Porsche is more locked than other VAG brands, but it is worth a shot asking, because I haven't found anything on the web.

I've got digital radio in my Boxster (and it's right hand drive?) so it must be available. It comes standard here in Australia.

I'd be checking with the dealer to see if it is just a software upgrade--although even then it will be 'Porsche pricing'.

It's possible, but the DAB antenna is inside the front windscreen. Will be quite expensive if you ask me.

1. DAB as per factory option : £3900 + vat fitted.
2. 3rd party DAB system (runs via USB port but shows on screen) cost is £890+Vat fitted.
3. Apple Carplay (if you have Apple) and use phone for music and digital radio services (plus a lot more on the feature front). £1200+Vat fitted
