I thought I would make a video of my efforts at oil changes on the base 2018 Cayman PDK, but pictures were taxing enough.

Step one - never figured out how to get the front end up on jack stands so ramps were my answer.

and my floor jack will only go so high, so I chiseled hockey pucks to fit the tops of the stands.

and here is my floor jack lift point with it's own puck as a dampener.

forgot - I used bricks as parking chocks for the front tires before any rear lifting was done.

Then removed both rear wheels, got on my back and removed the panel to access the drain plug and filter.

The next pic shows the drain plug to the left and the path I used for the hose to attach to the filter housing drain.

the filter drain hose from local hardware store was cut to length to fit my drain pan at the same time as engine oil is draining. Once filter drain hose was in place, then I removed engine drain plug and then loosened the oil filter housing.

and this is the socket wrench I had to get at Autozone that was small enough to fit in the filter housing area to turn the Schwaben oil filter socket.

I got the oil filter socket, oil filter, oil filter housing o-ring, and oil filter housing from Pelican Parts.

I never did get the oil filter housing away from the car to put the new in it's place (not sure if that is necessary, but I bought one anyway), but using the new rubber o-ring left me feeling pretty comfortable.

The above pictures should show the hose ID and the length that I cut that worked just fine.

I let everything drain for a couple of hours with the drain fill cap removed and covered with a rag.

Here are some somewhat hard to describe and understand pictures until you get under there and struggle for yourself. The drain hose is shown where it attaches to the oil filter drain and also the green plastic is part of the headlight aiming apparatus (?) that I did not try to remove - which should have given enough room to replace the filter housing instead of just the oil filter.

and these last two are the torx bit and socket used to remove the panel covering the oil drain et al.

and the last one to show how a hockey puck (yes they are sold in East Texas of all places!) can be carved to fit the top of the jack stands available at Autozone.

On both my oil changes the amount came out the same to fill to the max line: Oil amount 4.73L + 946 ml + 280 ml.

In closing, I began to run out of patience toward the end trying to get the panel back on under the car as it is a little easier coming off in my opinion. Keep track of where the different kind of fasteners go, do not overtighten the plastic ones (why they are not all metal I do not know!), and the panel can be flexed to come out of the front and rear slots - however removing two fasteners on a panel just forward of the one you are removing makes the flexing less strenuous.

Overall time for me - about 5 hours. Glad I did it and will I repeat - yes.

The exact same thing I have to do with my Corvette. Now, I will have to do it with the Porsche. A small price to pay for DOY.

Do you know if the bottom panels can still be removed while the car is lifted with the quickjack?

That's exactly the primary reason I chose to buy mine! The other work I do with it is a "bonus," for example, detailing it. Or when I installed my upgraded audio system

Honestly, I'm not really sure. It lifts by the lift points though, so I would also bet yes.

Personally, yes, I feel it's safe enough to get underneath it. To make the significant other happy, I'll put a couple jack stands under it as well, wherever I can fit them, as a backup safety net. They're not on designated lift points, but at that point, it's to preserve life, not the car.
