I wanted to fit a discreet dashcam to my Boxster but both that I have tried give interference with the DAB radio and I loose the signal.
The ones I have tried is:
Conbrov T17
Blueskysea DV688

Any body had any luck with a dashcam that doesn’t interfere with the radio signal

My Blackvue doesn't affect the DAB (or anything else as far as I can tell) at all.

In fact the only way I can tell it's on is the "Starting normal recording." message. It hides behind the rear view mirror and I can't even see the status lights from the driver's seat.

I have just tried installing a Blueskysea B1W dashcam and it interferes with the DAB reception so I removed it.

I ran the cable down the passenger side (RHD car) to the 12v socket in the passenger footwell. I assume that the DAB antenna is also on that side.

Which Blackvue did you get?

I assume your cable is routed along the top of the windscreen then down the windscreen inside the A pillar trim?

I've experimented with a temporary cable run, whereby the cable is run behind the passenger sun visor and then down the door seal, which unfortunatley means that the cable is visible. Not ideal. The DAB interference is still there but not as bad.

Agree with this, in fact today I fitted a second blackvue 900S 2 channel set up, so I have 4 cameras in the car, front, back and both sides with ZERO interference.

On a RHD. Which side pillar does the aerial run down.??
I’ve installed a BlackVue 750s and I am still getting dab interference. The power cable is running down the passenger side (left) pillar. As soon as I disconnect from the power, dab radio returns. Tried ferrite core on cable but no difference.

Any other tips??

No tips other than possibly call Baros Technology (in the UK). They sold and installed my 900 series 2 channel like you describe (Left Hand Side of the vehicle) with zero issues. Link to their website https://www.blackvue.co.uk/index.php/contactus

It must be something really innocuous. Good luck

My front camera cable is routed to the passenger footwell (left hand side = right hand drive car) and was going to install the rear camera today. I'm still trying to figure out how to route the rear cable. For those with rear cameras, did you install the rear camera on the opposite side from your front cable and if so, did you get any DAB interference or issues. Although the Blackvue cables are considerably thinner than the Bluesky one, I still think it will be a tight squeeze to install both in the same channel.

@Blink982 the rear camera cabling is on the passenger side of the car (left) as well (as the front camera). The rear cable was very (and I mean very) fiddly to get in and required it to be routed halfway down the rear hatch and back up. I have no DAB radio interference.
