I didn't pay attention to this when I visited/ordered my car (e.g., looking at other cars on the lot). Curious whether Porsche dealers place an advertising decal for their dealership somewhere on the car. This is universal with other "lesser" brands. I can live with a license plate frame with their name on it (which would be removed asap), but if its common to decal the car for advertisement I'll ask that they omit that when my car arrives.

I have bought Caymans at three different dealeerships over the years. None put on any decal. They offered the plate frame with their name but I had a Cayman plate frame so even that did not get used.

Yeah, dealer placards are almost universally shunned at Porsche dealers. Best thing to do is check existing inventory: If some of the cars have them, specifically request that one not be placed on your car.

Dealer license plate frames are far more common. My advice is to not bother with saying 'no' to one -- for dealer detente as much as any other reason -- and replace it with your own when you get your permanent plates in.

You have total control over having it on your car or not - you bought the car. A long time ago I worked at a dealer and while it was common to "brand" the cars when they arrived on the lot, often the badge / vinyl would be removed during the final detailing process before the customer received the car per their request.

If you do want a license plate frame - we supply branded and non-logo'ed carbon fiber license plate frames!

Mine came with the Atlanta-PEC delivery plate frame on the back. .

No dealer "decals" but it has a PEC delivery sticker in the windshield.

I left these on and I have had some positive comments about them.

Mine has Porsche fender badges but they are magnetic and I remove them when washing (my wife had them made at some online place).

Wife said that mine came from StickerMule.

She took the Porsche crest image off the internet and ordered four of them.

They came cut in the shape of the crest. I don't think they were too expensive.

Here's one of my spare ones that lives on my fridge. It measures about 4.5" by 3.5"

I went with the silver crest, to match my wheels/calipers. Chose the optional 'Stuttgart' over 'Porsche', just different and feels more like a touring badge.

Thanks @nineball for the link and @aeronca65tl for the initial photo and idea....
Agreed ZHR, good intel from both & may be rolling w/ your choice as well hmmmm ...........

Never mind the magnetic badges, look at that flawless reflection...wow. Nothing like black when it's well cared for and immaculately clean. You are making me want to go out to the garage and wax my car--and it's 12°F right now. :D
