I know this has been brought up before but was not clear on advice.

My car was born in February 2019 and I purchased it in July 2019. I have done 5K miles
This morning car popped up with a reminder that my first service is due in 5000 miles or 25 days.
Clearly this means that the dealer did not reset the date from "birth date" to inservice date.

The selling dealer is a ways a way.

I intend to honor a 1 year inservice date or 10K miles which ever is sooner and at this rate it will be the 10K in around May/June I am guessing. Do I just ignore the message until then or are there issues with warranty if I do. I know I could go to one of the other dealers and have them reset it but it is really hard to find the time.

Thanks but would my warranty start date of July 24th not be proof of in service date?

Whatever I tell you will not commit the dealer. You need them to commit
