Many seem to enjoy posting pictures of our recently washed and waxed cars. The rally car thread got me to thinking that there may be some of us that can't, or don't want to, keep our cars in showroom condition. I live on a dirt road that becomes very dusty during long periods without rain. It hasn't rained here in about a month. I'm sure the DD folks in northern climates have better examples. Here's mine. Agate grey beneath the dirt.

There was no "Car Neglect" sub-forum so this was the closest thing. The sand, gravel, and rocks hitting the front of the car during normal driving are of more concern to me. Guess I should have written on the rear window that was just as dusty:sneaky:. If I don't wear reading glasses I can't see infinitely small scratches so I don't wear them around the car.

My Cayman has been parked outside because our St. Patrick's Day parade float has been parked in the garage space it usually occupies.

I keep the Porsche moderately clean but I don't go crazy. It's a white car which I like because dirt tends to show less (as a consequence, we have four white cars).

But it's getting a little grubby due to rainfall and general road use.

And your car's silver, @MLJJ . That hides dirt. Don't EVEN get me started on Night Blue Metallic ...

Several forum members have seen my car with a couple of days' worth of road-trip grime on it. Ugggg-leee.
