Not sure what you are asking. Why would you want to disable it?

If you leave the car unlocked, after some time the alarm goes on but the doors stay unlocked. For example, you unlock your car, refuel and get back into your car ==> alarm goes of and everyone looks at you.

I.e. pressing unlock unlocks the doors, but only disables the alarm for a certain amount of time (something like 20 seconds)

That isn't how mine works. I leave it unlocked all the time. It sat in my driveway unlocked all yesterday and it's been unlocked in my garage overnight.
Maybe there is some sort of alarm time setting that is out of whack. Talk to the dealer.

Ahh ok. I'll check mine later to see what it does... but I think when I've left the car unlocked I have heard clicking and beeping so maybe mine alarms automatically too.

Like aeronca65tl my car was sat in the driveway unlocked all day yesterday as I worked in the garage, no problem with the alarm sounding on opening the door & it's not something I've ever had occur.

Just checked. Mine does not go on automatically.

Mine definitely does not go on automatically.

Reading this post reminds me, though, that a previous Porsche did behave as the OP described, although I don't recall how quickly it happened. It could well be a setting that can be activated, but the default is that it is deactivated.

As others have said, certainly worth a quick call to the dealer.

This is from the online manual:

“Depending on the country, the alarm system is automatically activated 30 seconds after closing the last door or the luggage compartment lid if the vehicle key is removed from the ignition lock. This is also the case if the vehicle has not been locked.”

Interesting. It never has gone off for me, though I do seem to recall hearing a subtle beep at times. I'll get out and not lock it and put my key in a Faraday pouch and then open the door to see what happens. Maybe it doesn't do it if the key is close enough.

I bought my car in Minnesota and drove it back to Connecticut with my son. Long trip and decided to take a nap in a rest area at one point. The inside surv. alarm kept arming when I tried locking the doors while inside the car so I left it unlocked.
Found out when I got home that you can lock yourself in the car without alarming the inside surv. alarm by quickly pushing the lock button on the fob twice. Doesn't answer the OPs issue but thought I would share as someone mentioned pushing the lock button twice in previous post. I assume this feature is also there to provide theft protection when the convertible top is down.

Pressing the fob twice not only disables the Interior motion sensors, but also the sensors that trip if the car moves, for instance if you are on a ferry or the auto train. I believe the Car is still locked and alarm is still armed if someone found a way to get the door open.

My 2019 Boxster sits in my garage where, obviously, I do not bother to lock it. It does not ever lock it self and/or activate the alarm, even after days or even three weeks or so when we have been away. Maybe there is some obscure menu option to do this but I have not noticed it although I never looked for it. The fobs are kept too far away in the house for the car to sense they are close by.
