So I found that AFE makes dry filters. Anyone have experience with those? How about pipercross? Then I found one from Cobb. On their website a guy with gts posted gains at the 1/4 mile. Not sure how legit it is though...

I've run aFe filters on several cars, both oiled and dry -- I even had an aFe open-filter CAI on a MINI that I had absolutely zero issues with, even on a 6,500-mile road trip. That's the brand I use if I use an aftermarket air filter.

(I don't run one on my 718, mainly because I can't easily access & maintain it on my own.)

Cobb's filter is likely a rebranded model by some other maker.

Don't expect better performance with any aftermarket filter-only solution. Just do it for the higher 'ceiling', better filtration, and (slightly) higher intake noise.

Thanks. Yeah I plan to do this in conjunction with an aftermarket exhaust (turbo back). Don't think I'll see gains with it by itself. I'd be OK if I gain 4-5 hp.
