Anyone ever get a engine control fault. 2017 Cayman S, 8400 miles.
Update: thanks for the response, it was an O2 sensor. They rebooted the computer and all is “good”I've had one a couple of times - I think when I first ran the car after winter storage, and once or twice after extremely thorough washing and drying. I'm struggling to remember, but I think I got multiple warnings, and they all cleared after shutting off and re-starting - except the Engine Control Fault coming out of storage. That was there for the dealer to see, and it turned out to have been a misfire in one cylinder.
Oh, no! Really sorry to hear!Sad to report that the cause of my Turbo loss and check engine light is due to damage to wires. By rodent! $1000 work needed and then will see if anything else malfunctioning.
