I’m evaluating to upgrade my CS718 performance...its already equipped with PSE. (and sport Chrono)
Will like to add downpipe/catless, BMC F1 air filter and do the ECU tune...tail pipes
The ecu tune will remove the check engine light? Or there are downpipe options that won’t turn on the light?
What product combination do you recommend?

Or you recommend downpipe with sport cat?

For tune options: I should go with COBB? VR? FABSPEED?
For downpipe options: NHP? FABSPEED? SOUL? MACH5? ARMYTRIX?

Thanks in advance for your comments...

Sounds like a good plan. The downpipe will help with turbo spoil and give you some power. It depends on which tune you get to maximize those benefits though. I have Cobb and will need a protune to fully take advantage of a downpipe. That’s not to say just bolting it on won’t improve performance

Hey jL,

A pro tuner can disable any check engine lights you may get - allowing you to run a catless downpipe. Our Sport Downpipe with HJS HD 200 cell catalytic converter will prevent any check engine lights. We back ours with a Lifetime Warranty, including track use.

If you need a protune, we can take care of you on that.

As Mike said we can turn off the catalyst related codes for you but it's worth considering a catted downpipe like Soul offers.

So is better go catted downpipe than instead of catless
That depends on your goals.

Catless will be louder and make more power with a tune - as long as you can disable the CEL and are OK with your dealership status.

Catted downpipe will bolt right in (at least ours will) and you don't need a tune and the dealership shouldn't think too much of it - but we always suggest discussing mods with your dealership as they have the final say.

Please shoot me an email if you'd like to have a personalized discussion about your mod plans, I'd be happy to help!
