i was going to buy that setup, with the cat, but a few things happened to sour me on fabspeed. i actually ordered it direct from fabspeed and they had not even started building it on the day it was supposed to ship, no one told me and they blamed it on the sales guy supposedly quitting and no one looking at any of his accounts, which i HIGHLY doubt would happen in any company their size; they originally sold it to me with the cat after telling them that 85% of my use would be at the track, and as soon as you track the cat it voids the exhaust warranty; there was a pretty bad thread on rennlist about some bad customer service. add it all up and it doesn't look good to me.

that being said some people rave about them and their products, so to each their own i guess. you won't have the worry of the cat so that is a plus.

I want to start off and just apologize again for the experience you had. We produce a large quantity of exhausts and having a Sales Specialist leave can be a very delicate process to make sure nothing slips through the cracks. That is not an excuse for what happened at all, I just would like you to know that we do take that turnover process very seriously. Clearly we were at fault with your incident and I would like to extend the opportunity to compensate you for the inconvenience you had. If you are interested at all just send me a PM, our most important goal is to leave a happy Fabspeed customer.

not going to happen. i posted my experience and that is the end of it for me. perhaps if it has just been the screw up with my order and the wait things may have been different, but selling me a $1,700 cat specifically for track use when your company policy would void my warranty as soon as i used it as described is just plain thievery imo.

Hello,
I would love to talk to you about exhaust options for your vehicle. There are some easy great options to get a ton of performance and sound out of the 718. >:D
Quick question, how does the Supercup exhaust work with a car equipped with PSE? I know the supercup system is valveless, so does the PSE exhaust button simply make the car crackle off-throttle instead of also affecting volume?

Again, I apologize for your inconvenience and I respect your decision. We look at every customer and every situation differently to stand by our products the best we can we try not to decline warranty issues unless it is clear track abuse. Every warranty across the industry voids if you race a product with catalytic convertors. You will not find any company that is different in that regard. If your sales rep did not do a good job of understanding your needs and wants for your vehicle, we are truly sorry as that is something we pride ourselves on. If you change your mind on my offer just shoot me a message.

Me personally, I think you should consider making the track disclaimer statement more visible on the product page instead of putting it in the FAQ's which most people would never read.

Yes, I installed this w/the 200 cell cat over a year ago... they have since upgraded the rear most bracket to correct the previous bracket failure [exhaust would drop, hitting the axle]. I have had no issue since, but Would recommend care if you lower the car as I have. I have the S model, inclusive w/the PASM, and installed H&R VTF lowering springs.. the Fabspeed exhaust needed to be modified in order to still fit after the springs were put on....

I'd like to let everyone know that we proudly cover our Sport Catalytic Converter Downpipe with HJS HD 200 cell catalytic converter for track use as long as race fuel is not used. The HJS cat itself has a 3 year warranty while the rest of the product and its construction is covered by our Lifetime Warranty. In that 3 year period if the catalytic converter fails, we will replace it or credit you towards a catless component if you feel it better suites your needs. We want you to enjoy your car on the road AND track!
