Started shopping last August. Wasn’t able to find the exact car I wanted so I looked into ordering. Orders were no longer being taken for 2019 and were not being taken yet for 2020. I specked out a 2019 and negotiated a percent off with my dealer. In December when 2020 ordering became available my order went in with my dealer agreeing to the same percentage off. I was surprised that he traded a 911 allocation with another dealer to get my Cayman and am grateful that he was willing to do that.
