Any good canyon drives fellow LA folks can suggest? I plan to do Las Virgenes through to PCH but it can be a hit or miss due to traffic at times.

For me during the weekdays the Malibu Canyons are the closest. I like Encinal Canyon Rd, Decker Rd, parts of Mulholland that are open. Further north if time permits I like the Maricopa Highway from Ojai ( 33 ). If I have a weekend off, I like to go out to the Angeles National Forest.

I am in Newbury Park.

Great local canyon roads in the Santa Monicas, Encinal, Mullholland, Decker, Stunt, Piuma, and on and on - one of my favorites is Latigo. Like Guaji, The 33 out of Ojai is great.

Thanks for the suggestion guys! I did Las Virgenes, Encinal, Mullholland, Decker today. Still in break in period so not pushing hard but still it felt like no other car I've driven before.

My next block of days off is the 18,19,and 20th. I plan to drive the Malibu Canyons and probably even a little circuit I like...33 from Ojai to 166 then east to Hudson Ranch Road to Lockwood Valley Rd and back south on 33 to Ojai.
