Hello everyone,

I’ve been lurking here for a bit, researching. Well on Saturday, I bought my first Porsche.

2018 718 Cayman GTS in Graphite Blue Metallic with Leather Graphite Blue/Chalk with Sport-Tex Sport Plus Seats, 6 Speed.
PASM 20mm, 20” Carrera S Wheels black, Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel, Heated Seats, Navi and Porsche Connect Plus with Apple CarPlay, Rear Wing & Door Handless in High Gloss Black.

I’m coming from a 2009 Nissan 370Z 6 Speed in Platinum Gray. The car has been my DD for almost 11 years, I purchased one of the earliest 370Z’s in the country. It has been an amazing car, it is bullet-proof reliable, I love it, and if and when I end up selling it, I will miss it dearly, like a loved family member!

I am nonetheless fully committed to the Porsche. If my last two cars are any indication, I will keep this car for at least a decade, although the plan is for this to be a “forever” car which I will never sell. I am super-excited to join both the overall Porsche, and more specifically the 718, community!

Congrats ... I ran a 6MT 2010 370Z Touring for a couple of years in that same Platinum Gray. Nifty package at the time; really enjoyed that car (came full circle with it on my first-ever car: a '76 280Z) ...

,,, but lemme tell ya: the GTS blows the socks off of any Z car in every conceivable regard. You're in for a treat.

Congrats, amazing car! I was super close to pulling the trigger on a graphite blue Cayman but the deal fell through at the end. Great color!!!

I did a lot of looking prior to buying my Boxie and found VERY few complaints on maintenance items. Cost yes, but very few problems, Even the prior non-turbo models have very few problems, even with a lot of miles.
Heck, even my '92 911 with 140k miles is rock solid!!

Welcome from a fellow Pennsylvanian! Good to have you onboard. Can't speak for Warrington, but the folks at Porsche of the Main Line have treated me well (and you can gawk at McLarens if it's your fancy, too). Going down there Tuesday for the winter wheel swap.

Beautiful. Enjoy. Those Sport Tex seats really pop, and the fabric is durable. I cannot believe Porsche no longer offers this option for the Base and S, in 2021. Leather options only.
