Purchasing the 718 GTS was not something that I thought would affect my feeling about cars like it has. I have always been a car enthusiast. My previous car was a 2017 AMG c63s Coupe that was brilliant. I put almost 20K miles on it in 18 months and most of the driving was for fun and most in the canyons of Malibu and Angeles Crest HWY. Needless to say the c63 s was not the best car for these roads. Still I would wake up at 6am every Sat & Sun and head out for a few hours of driving. I was very content until I met a guy driving a 2018 Cayman S. We met a few times and he offered to take me for a drive on the Snake and that was all it took. For weeks all I could think about was how the 718 felt winding through the snake. That car was perfection on that road and I had to have it. So I did what any normal car nut would. I sold a perfectly good(great) car and bought the Porsche. I was planning on getting a Cayman S but I was offered a great deal on the GTS and it has been the best car buying decision of my life.

...welcome and congratulations on your Cayman GTS! As you're aware, it's a combination that's sure to please! I flew out to LA last year for its debut at the auto show. Share photos when you get the chance...Enjoy!?

Love hearing stories like this. I have had my 718 GTS for 3 months now and it regularly blows my mind. The way it drives is incomparable to anything I've driven. Handling is sublime just plodding along or flat out on a country road. I also came from a perfectly good (great) car. My M4. No looking back. Not sure realistically where I could go from here.... So maybe I won't. Enjoy the GTS, cracking decision
