Random question for the masses... what do people use the “luggage net” in the passenger footwell for, if for anything?

I haven’t used it for anything and can’t really come up with anything I would need to put in there.

Sunglasses? Mine are in the console but I would use that net if I needed to. Lots of other small things could fit there also. I see more opportunity to use this than the Smoker's Package cubby.

It is (relatively) cheap ... but it holds my $1 Ikea zip-around CD case (yes, I still spin them), which won't fit in the center console and won't fit well in the glove box. So: glad I checked that box!

Haha, awesome. I cringe at the thousands of dollars that I spent on cds that now sit in the closet. But a great use of the net it seems. The family Apple Music plan is definitely worth the $15 a month in my opinion. I think amazon prime also comes with a music service.

The manual idea is also pretty solid. Thanks for the ideas gents.

Besides maybe being unsightly, is it ever annoying or does it catch on stuff? Is it easy enough to reach while driving that the driver would use it? I often put things like a small water bottle in the passenger footwell that I'd like to put in there, but if it's not useful enough and an ugly annoyance I'll leave it off.

My spouse often keeps her iPhone in it. We also keep paper maps and brochures from the state and national parks we visit in it for quick reference.
