I got an error message up today saying that I have a “fuel gauge fault and a service is necessary”, a second error code came up saying “engine control fault consult dealer”

Anyone else experience this? Will book it in tomorrow with the dealer

Update

It turns out a rodent had started to make a nest next to my battery and had chewed the fuel gauge wire . The little bugger had several other cars he could of chosen and he had to pick that one
Anyway all sorted now, might look into those electronic pest deterrents, anyone had any experience with them?

The electronic things don't get very good reviews--try poison.

I'm glad it wasn't the car's fault--although new vehicles do use soy oil in wire insulation.
