I got an error message up today saying that I have a “fuel gauge fault and a service is necessary”, a second error code came up saying “engine control fault consult dealer”

Anyone else experience this? Will book it in tomorrow with the dealer

It turns out a rodent had started to make a nest next to my battery and had chewed the fuel gauge wire :(. The little bugger had several other cars he could of chosen and he had to pick that one :rolleyes:
Anyway all sorted now, might look into those electronic pest deterrents, anyone had any experience with them?

The electronic things don't get very good reviews--try poison.

I'm glad it wasn't the car's fault--although new vehicles do use soy oil in wire insulation.:(
