Does anyone know of a source for this coolant in the US? I found on Amazon's UK website, but they won't ship here and the other sites listed on Glysantin's site are all in German.

Is there a safe alternative to add in to top off coolant that will mix with this? My fluid is pink, like Glysantin, not red like the OEM Porsche fluid Suncoast sells.

I was curious about checking the coolant level and the engine was a little warmer than 140º (foolish mistake not to get in the car and check the temp). I lost a little, not much, and screwed the cap back on right away. Now I'm paranoid that I might've screwed something up. Learning the hard way...

Thanks

This is an old thread but maybe it will help someone else. Just ordered a Gallon G40 coolant made for Porsche and got it on Pelican Parts. About $26. I opened the cars coolant cap and see no liquid. It only has 6K and just came out of CPO inspection. So I guess it s OK, haven't seen leaking or smell. After reading up here I think I should just leave it alone as everyone says when they add coolant it just vents out when it heats up. Also seems to be some different opinions on filling it. No low level warning either. I checked it stone cold. Maybe I should warm it a little and see if the fluid rises? Any advise ? I did get some good advise about leaving things alone that Ain t broke, LOL.

For me to see the coolant I have to lean right over the filler tube and shine a flashlight down to see a glimmer of liquid. That's where mine is set after a full service and top-up by the dealer.
Basically copied from the .pdf manual:

"If the symbol (sorry—the symbols wouldn't copy) or ... is not displayed with a message requesting that the coolant be topped up, only top up if no coolant is visible at the base of the standpipe. The MAX marking only applies during refilling itself as the level in the standpipe drops after the engine is first started."
