I'm from the Knoxville area and I attended the event on Saturday, but I did not drive down in my Cayman or participate in the parade laps. @duegatti your car was one of the first I noticed after arriving. What a beautiful spec Boxster; your car looks stunning. I hope you got a chance to experience the Porsche Hot Laps - I've never been in a car approaching 100 MPH on an AutoX style course before.

You're very kind. That helps balance out the "that's the ugliest car I've ever seen" that I overheard. (To be fair, that's the only negative response I've gotten in a year. Several people at Barber gushed over Bindi, and I was asked to take a passenger on the parade laps.)
I did the Hot Laps two years ago, and I refrained on Saturday, worried that it might make me a bit car sick. I thought that the parade laps would be as fast as they were two years ago, and I wanted to be 100%. I don't know if you saw it, but there must have been 50 cars for the parade laps. It was pretty tame.
