Google earth on PCM navigation

Has there been any talk of Porsche discontinuing support on 2017 - 2019 cars? On my S7 Audi has stated they are dropping Google Earth support on 2018 (and earlier models) as of 12/31/20. They said the pre-2019 MMI hardware is not compatible with future Google software updates.
