Stunning pics, beautiful car.

Waiting (very impatiently) for my Boxster GTS, delivery due end of November.
Oh man, I was really looking forward for my car to arrive but the last week was the worst! I followed the shipping vessel until my car was unloaded in San Diego and it wasn't until that point that I was really anxious for it. My dealer is only about 100 miles from San Diego. Those were the longest 10 days I've experienced. Then I waited to get the windows tinted and Xpel installed but at least I could sit in it and smell the newness.

Hang in there, totally worth the wait. What color body/top did you get?

Great looking car. How do you like the LED headlights? What were your thoughts on choosing that option? Can you please post a picture of them in the daylight to show the headlight cover tinting (or lack of)?

Thank you! I LOVE the LED headlights, had them in the last 3 cars I've owned. I like the brightness and temperature of LEDs. From you other posts, I found out that they are not tinted, and they do appear clear when looking through the lens sideways. The inside of the housings are mainly black, giving a dark look to them, but they're not tinted. Yet. When it's nice out, I'll take some pics of the lights.

Just out of curiosity why are US cars called 2019 when it is still 2018? In Australia if I want to order a 2019 car I have to have it delivered in Jan 2019 which would still be a 2018 build. If I want a 2019 car I have to have it built in 2019 which means I have to wait a really long time for my 2019 car. :|

There is a difference between Porsche's 2019 model year (which changes AFAIK after the August shut-down) and what the Australian government considers a 2019 registration.

Not sure exactly but I had a build date for a 2018 that was going to be delivered July-ish 2018 in the US. I missed that slot by 1 day and got the next available production slot from my dealer. I placed my order in APR of 2018 with a production fix date in JUL.

I had literally finished my configuration (for the 100th time) and sent it to the dealer. Next day they asked me to rebuild the car and send them a new build code and the Porsche site was different -- with the 2019 build options. So even though I ordered in 2018, it was with the 2019 configuration options, which were different, and on 21.SEP I took delivery. About 6 months later.

Hey, I thought I had the best looking 718. I'd give you a big thumbs up on your selection and optioning!!
Sweet ride! How did you get the rear Porsche emblem (right under the rear wing) black? I don't remember that part being an option. Looks good - the black is subtle on the Agate Grey, looks sporty and classy at the same time.
