I had this issue when I had PPF applied to my Carrera T. I removed the side decal and I am happy with the clean look. I actually don’t mind the GTS decal, it is much more understated then the Carrera T side decal. As mentioned above, I think the 718 Cayamn GTS is a little busy on the back. One consideration with the Porsche stickers door or otherwise is if you do a PPF you have to make up your mind before hand whether you want to have them covered over with the PPF or removed and reapplied on top of the PPF. It was a question I was confronted with when I had my 3RS done that I hadn't considered and created some angst.
It's only tacky if you put them on a non GTS car. What does everyone think? Better with or without?
The car I picked up was optioned like this also... 718 on the rear with GTS on the doors. I like it this way.I kept the door stickers, but opted to put 718 on the rear bumper. My feelings were that the full, "718 Cayman GTS" was too long.
I don't know how well they'll hold up over time, but so far so good.

I wasn’t 100% sold on removing the door decal, but now I like the understated look. Even though I have my moments and think it looks a little too plain.Guaj:
I had a GT Silver Carrera T. I could not stand those letters and took them off the 1st night. Somehow, the "GTS" on the side of the same color Cayman doesn't bother me as much. They're still on.
: )
Oh, c'mon, don't exaggerate! The sticker is worth at least 25 HP.
