Are the covers tinted black for all three headlight options including LED? The configuration mentions black only for the PDLS but I am assuming that is the outside of the lamp itself. It is hard to tell for sure with the low resolution configuration and I cannot get 3D to work on any of my computers.

As @trusted notes, tinted covers for ANY light are illegal in the U.S. Even the OEM 'tinted taillight' option (standard on the GTS) is not really tinted -- it's simply LED fittings that are colored clear and surrounded with a black array housing.

What you're talking about is the housing for the array. The top-of-the-line PDLS+ LED headlights are black as OEM. The standard Bi-Xenons have a considerable amount of chrome and aluminum. The optional PDLS Bi-Xenons have less of that chrome/aluminum, but they can be 'blacked out' to look similar to the LEDs by the option you're describing.

In all cases, the lens that covers the array is 100-percent clear and un-tinted.

I noticed that the 'tinted taillights' option was renamed to 'clear taillights' in the configurator.
