Mine is just a CS, but when I test drove a PDK , I just couldn't buy a manual. At 66yo, I have driven manuals for a long time. With the PDK and the ability to downshift or upshift in the middle of corners without upsetting the car, I was hooked. I get the nostalgic reasoning of manuals, but that's all it is. Buy what you want , but a manual transmission is a downgrade in performance. It's 2018.Curious who opted for which transmission and what influenced you to go that way.. Anyone have regrets with their choice? thanks
No one mentioned weight-savings. If you want the lightest 718, the only one with Three-Zero as the leading digits of curb-weight, it's a manual. The Carrera T of the mid-engine line.nicest slickest 6 speed I have ever owned
...hi everyone. For those familiar with Motoman and his car reviews, he just released a new "living with" video, highlighting the 718 Cayman GTS...you may (or may not) like his verdict on transmission choice (hint: I sure did!)...?Curious who opted for which transmission and what influenced you to go that way.. Anyone have regrets with their choice? thanks
