So I think my headlight height is off. I’ve been told the left light is intentionally lower than the right (US car) to go easy on oncoming traffic. However mine seems really low. I have standard Bi-Xenon lights and have been told they have to be adjusted by dealer. So at some point I’ll make an appointment but in the mean time I had to poke around. I found there are 5mm hex adjustments that can be made inside the frunk. On mine, it appears there are 2 rubber plugs on each side that can be popped out to get to the adjusters nuts. But it seems like there is only one adjuster per side... not sure what the other hole provides access to but it doesn’t appear there is a nut there.

So I turned the lights on and adjusted the one nut on the left (driver side). Indeed rotating the nut counter clockwise moved the light beam up! 2 turns seemed to move it a good amount but it’s still a tiny bit lower that right headlight which I didn’t touch. Is there a standard measurement that I can set mine to? I’ve never noticed my left headlight setting being lower on any other car I’ve owned.

That is indeed how the dealer will adjust the lights, so an appointment is not needed. ?

As far as a recommended height is concerned, many years ago when I switched to Cibié lights the set-up was to have the beam aimed just very slightly below horizontal so it didn't (when on flat roads) hit the windscreen of other cars. I've been using that for well over 50 years without problems, and with good vision both in the city and country.

You may want to have someone sitting in the car when adjusting so the suspension is in it's driving compression. Most lights have one side of each beam lower on the oncoming traffic side.

Is it possible that your self-leveling feature is out of spec or broken?
I’m honestly not aware of a self-leveling feature for my lights. Was that an option? My 2019S didn’t have any lighting options.

I might have to upgrade just so I can get the state of the art lights! Sheshh! LED and self leveling would be sweet! :):)

I think first of all you should check the connections of the main light cables. It is often the main reason for the improper functioning of car headlights. I would also advise you to contact the service center where you bought the car. If there is insurance, they will do all the work for free. I faced the same situation last month. In addition to the headlights, I also ordered a High Lumen Watt LED Tactical Flashlight. Btv, I plan to buy a new car shortly. My wife wants to apply for a loan and choose a newer and more expensive model. What do you recommend?
