My headlights developed sever pitting and scratching over the last 1.5 years since I owned it (Arizona car) that required replacement because too far gone to be polished. Has anyone else had to deal with this issue? BTW I replaced them with the sport ones offered by Porsche and had them XPel wrapped to help solve this desert problem.

I put film on mine too.
Its not recommended by Porsche but I'd rather have nice looking headlights and deal with film removal later.
There is a proceedure to remove the film by steaming it to help release the bond.

I had mine covered in xpel last week. Installer is fully aware of issues and told me they can remove it when needed without problems.
