Hello everyone!

Just traded in my 2015 M3 for a 718 CS in Lava Orange, picking it up on Monday. First Porsche for me. Got lucky and found the options I really wanted (manual, no sport chrono/rev matching, PASM, PTV, Bose) in a color I liked. 2017 so was able to negotiate a great deal on the car and the trade.

I street parked the M3 for all of 2 weeks before I couldn't take the paranoia of walking out to it and seeing it damaged. Got a garage for the Cayman. It's valet only but you can only win so many battles in this city.

That makes sleeping at night more relaxed. Great city to grow up in and the schools are first rate but owning a car in NY is an entirely different story.

I almost chose the Lava Orange they had...it's unique - stands out !! It looks more red in the cloudy sky but put it in the sun and there is the orange. I only chose another car because of features...but think your smart with this color. (Will always look clean). I have only seen 2 in Austin / Dallas area - that is pretty rare - nice...


Most of us with PDK get jealous and thought about stick as its the real way to enjoy this car. But with all traffic some of us get and PDK so much better than days of old. But know with the stick you have one hot little ride.
