New to this forum so thought I’d introduce myself.
I’m from Scotland and I imagine one of the younger ones on this forum - currently 22 with my second Porsche on order, so have started my experience of Porsche ownership at a young age with hopefully many more years of blissful driving ahead!
Current car is a 718 Cayman base. It was a custom factory order that I collected in December 2017, so just shy of two years old now. It’s a manual and has done 13,000 miles. Miami Blue is still absolutely gorgeous and I’ll never tire of it - strangers are forever complimenting the colour. The 20” 911 Turbo wheels are stunning and worth the price tag. Other than that, the spec is very low key. Side air intakes painted jet black metallic, wheel centre Porsche crests in full colour, sports tailpipes in black, seat heating and just the standard Alcantara sports seats.
I have another 718 Cayman base on order right now, build date next month and collection in December. This time around I’ve gone for a sportier spec in terms of cosmetic design.
Spec for my new 718:
Lava Orange
PDK
20” Carrera S wheels in jet black metallic
SportDesign Package in high gloss black
Rear wing in high gloss black
Door handles in high gloss black
Side air intakes in black
Sports tailpipes in black
Bi-Xenon headlights with PDLS
Deletion of model designation
Heated seats
Cruise control
Standard Alcantara sports seats
Very excited to see the new car, but for now I’m enjoying my final few weeks with a manual transmission.
And of course, here’s some pictures!
