Hi everyone, long-time reader here from the other side of the world. Finally decided to create an account as my white base 718C is scheduled to arrive roughly one month from now!

Extremely excited for it to come, especially after reading about some of the adventures of other forum members! I'll be sure to take and share some pictures once it does.

p.s. some of you might know about Singapore's crazy expensive car prices. My base 718, which has relatively minimal options, will cost a total of USD$230k,,, Perhaps I should pack my bags and move to the west soon...

Carrera white metallic, nothing too special. My father had a white 911 when I was young, and I've aspired to purchase my own Porsche in white ever since!

As I have said many times in the past, the best color, is the color you like the best........there are no wrong choices.

Collected the car two weeks ago and already 1000 miles done! It's been an amazing experience and I imagine it only gets better from here.

I have been to Singapore quite a few times and always enjoy it although a bit hot. Marina Bay Sans looks great at night especially with your car in front!

Also curious to know where you can drive on such a small island!

Yes, but they are few and far between since Singapore is such a small country!

Having previously lived and driven around the US, I can safely say that the roads there offer much more driving pleasure. That is, when there's no snow...

I've done most my miles along the northwest coast of Singapore. A lot of nature there and the roads are good. Most importantly, no traffic lights and not many other vehicles go there.

I know that some people also drive across the border into Malaysia. Personally planning to hold off on this until our local Porsche dealership or Porsche Club arranges a convoy though!
