Hi!

Just took delivery of a new to me 2018 718 Cayman GTS PDK with 7000 km on it, a couple of weeks ago. Although I haven´t had the chance to take it out for a long drive due to the weather, I feel that the performance of the car impresses me to this point. The PDK is wonderful, the steering is direct and the power is instant.

Looking forward to a nice spring and summer. I´m also eager to try the elimination of the "Soundaktor".

Been hanging around here for a time before my purchase. Really like the discussions and threads of this forum.

Welcome I am the new owner of a 2019 CGTS. Same as you the weather in Maine USA is crappy, This is a great forum to learn a little about our cars. You picked an awesome color. And yes, it´s my first Porsche although I've test driven quite a few over the years. From 981 GTS, 991.2 C4S to Turbo S. But this is the first I actually own. Also In my price range Didn't know what I was going to think of this 4 cylinder. But it has really surprised me on the good side! Much more fun than the 981.

Thank you! Congratulations on a very nice car! Really love the GT silver. For most part I've had darker colors on my previous cars so I'm happy with this choice. Doesn't need as much cleaning... Although its fun detailing your car.

Nice, there are alot of nice roads around and down south you have Sandhammaren, longest beach in Sweden (?)

The interior is the GTS alcantara package I believe together with sport seats Plus. I'm the second owner so I didn't have the chance to opt it out myself. But, I'd probably go with the same spec if I'd had the chance. Also with Apple Carplay which I find really good with the touchscreen. I have Apple Carplay in my Mercedes too, but that's not as good as the one in the Porsche.

As long as you're happy that's all that matters! everyone has different opinions when it comes to interior styles anyway. I have the Sports seat plus in my 718B. they are the most comfortable seats and hold you really well. I wouldn't choose any other seat.
I have never used apple car play lol I have never owned an iPhone. I am more of an android user. but hey ho! it would be boring if we were all the same!

Beautiful car and spec, I agonised for months between GT Silver and agate grey. I went for grey, but would have loved either. You'll love the GTS interior, mine has worn very well and makes me feel like it's a special car whenever I get in.

Now rack up those miles and enjoy. Great choice

I also like the GTS interior. There's something special with it compared to the standard versions.

Love the Agate Grey. But I've had to many dark colors on my cars lately so I went with the GT Silver. And yes, I will rack up those miles
