Hello all I just got my build sheet and I am V200 for my 2019 Guards Red Cayman S with a delivery on or before the 1st of February. My husband @Porsche2018 said I should receive my 718 about a month earlier and I am real excited. Look forward to making new friends and being Porsche crazy like my husband.

That is correct MB 718s are definitely faster without exception........well with one possible exception.......those that are Lizard Green. I am unable to reference the article at this time but, trust me, it has been proven scientifically....

@Porsche2019, are you sure @Porsche2018 is your husband and not just some crazy guy who obviously loves you insanely? I ask because I just checked out your build and that was my first impression. You do have the headlight washers in chrome, but I believe some think chrome is very fast.

@Porsche2019:
May I recommend painting the rear side inlets in body color (MB)? I'm a big fan of that option, and think it really helps complete the car.
MOO!

That's brilliant. Porsche 2018 can now stay in the 718 family! Guess I'll have to get my wife into a 718 now so I don't get thrown off.;)
Thanks Peter my husband told me you moved up to the rarified air of the 911s, congratulations to you as well but absolutely it's time to buy your wife a 718 as well!

Cool! You are a lucky woman being marred to Porsche2018. Miami Blue is my favorite available color too!
I know, he tells me that all the time.:laugh:

Sounds like he's a lucky guy being married to 2019!?
Thank you! Now that's a bit more like it......

Well maybe a little crazy in a good way but we are definitely crazy in-love. Thanks about the build compliment and maybe I will leave the washer heads in chrome after all!!!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

...oh well, I guess speed isn't everything...LOL...
I can see we are on the same wavelength.....though I am pretty sure Guards is much faster than Lizard Green and that's all that matters./forum/images/718forum/smilies/tango_face_smile_big.png
...Yes...most certainly! Truthfully, you can't go wrong either way but I like guards red...of course after my personal preference, Lava Orange, which I believe is ever so slightly faster ...LOL...have fun and enjoy!

Though, I have a confession I am waffling on the color. Guards Red??????? After all it's a women's prerogative to change her mind.:)
If it helps you decide one way or the other, here's my Guards Red 718 S with side intakes, headlight washers, and front and rear fascia painted to match.
