Hi from East Central Illinois
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to this forum and to Porsche. Just ordered an Agate Grey 718 Cayman S last week. Dealer says it should be delivered in May. I hope he's under-promising. Patience has never been my strong suit, but I'll have to manage.
My wife and I first got the yen for a Porsche after a factory tour, but it took a few years to get her to "yes". I'm coming from a 2017 Subaru BRZ. It was a great handling car, a lot of fun on the twisties, but under-powered. Before that, I was mostly a Mazda guy. Four Miatas, an RX-8 and an RX-7.
