Hi all

Pleased to "meet" everyone. I'm new-ish to the forum, and about to be a first-time Porsche owner.

My new car - a manual Boxster - is currently on a ship somewhere off the coast of Africa, making its way towards me here in Perth, Western Australia. I should take delivery sometime mid December, I hope.

Thanks! I've gone for GT Silver with black leather interior. Kept it very simple. Will certainly post photos when it arrives.

I hadn't heard that term "flashies" before! Assume you mean the police. Yep, have to be careful but there are still plenty of good places to use it beyond the track.

For what it's worth, I have roads near me that look just like that in New Jersey, USA
(but with road signs on the other side )

It’s Nanga Road - inland of Waroona (100km or so south of Perth).
