I had some cash in my glove compartment and then asked myself why my emergency cash only totalled five dollars...
So I was thinking of stashing a hundred dollars somewhere in the car where it wouldn't be so obvious to a burglar but also not tempt a mechanic.
Honestly I could just put it in a paper bag and throw it my trunk because it's so full of other stuff it wouldn't get noticed at all. But to be more secretive I was thinking about taping it up under the seat or inside a fuse compartment. Any ideas?

I tried to get a screengrab of the contraband scene involving a Porsche in the movie Big Chill, but my Google images search failed me...

A $100 bill is not very effective in an emergency. They are difficult to spend. I'd suggest five $20 bills instead. Small ziploc bag taped under the seat. BOOM. Problem solved. Why make this more difficult than it needs too?

How about putting some cash in one of the cupholders? The are worthless otherwise.

Not gonna hate too hard, but as far as Central Texas BBQ goes, Salt Lick is a definite second or third-tier choice.

Next time you're in town, try Louie Mueller, La BBQ, Terry Black's, or one of the Lockhart joints (Kreuz, Black's, or Smitty's)
This man knows his Texas barbecue ... though Lockhart has become, IMHO, second tier since it began franchising itself ... Franklin's is my Austin pick. Gotta get there early on a Friday, though ...

Anyway: I have the perfect stash place on our cars. Anywhere revealed by the Soundaktor disconnection thread here. Seriously: it looks much, much harder to remove than it actually is ...

... though a close second place would be one of the cubbies available in the frunk.
