Afternoon all, picked my Cayman S (2017) up last week and thought a bit of shared thinking wouldn’t go amiss. This is my 4th Porsche and my previous 911 (991 gen 1) had PVTS tracking built in. The new car doesn’t and I quite fancy trying an alternative to Porsche’s expensive security.

Can anyone recommend a reliable, VFM tracker system please?

Cheers

Welcome. I'm also from the NW so may see you about if you're in the Manchester/Liverpool area.

As mentioned above, all new 718s have the PVTS. You just need to phone them up to activate it.

As mentioned, what makes you think it does ‘not’ have PVTS already?

re alternatives, are you thinking subscription or stand alone trackers you can monitor yourself eg on mobile phone?
