T Design has a module you can install in the console that lets the Sport and engine off/on switches stay in the same position they were in when you shut off the engine. I installed mine and it was a very easy job, just be careful when you take the trim off that goes around the console, it is very fragile.

That's pretty cool, but doesn't work if you have the knob on the wheel (which I do - SC). Is there another product that will work with the steering wheel knob?

It may not remember mode with SC, but it will remember auto start/stop setting.
T-design will likely have the expertise to engineer a module which works with SC, you could always ask them if there is a chance it is in the pipeline.
I use the T-design module on my 718 without SC and it really makes the car a joy, always starting up in sport mode and always with auto start/stop off.

Put it in to Individual and you can program which settings are on or off.

So you can have it in normal mode with the stop start disabled, the PSE on and the spoiler always up, for example.

Not quite as simple with a manual transmission and the free smokers package. Smokers package is a lid on the open box toward the rear of the gearshift. I had to make a PVC plate to support the module. Not hard but not simple drop in. Whatever effort it takes is well worth the elimination of start/stop on a manual transmission car. More engineering would be required to make it functional. Maybe OK with PDF but not with a manual.

Buttons on the steering wheel? My no button steering wheel just steers the car. Novel thought.

I would change the name on the car. Great car but my wife does not like to ride in it because she is embarrassed. She will ride in with the top up where she is hidden.

ViperMike is ready to attack again? I said something negative. Bad boy.

One thing? I'd want rid of the gasoline particulate filter - it no doubt mutes the aggression of the exhaust note, but such was the price I paid for having a car new from the factory.
Please explain. I would be curious to understand how an unclogged gasoline filter effects the exhaust in any way. I am sure the answer will be obvious but just don’t see the connection now. Thanks.

PPF/GPF is an exhaust gas filter, similar to a catalytic converter. It therefore muffles the sound (think of it like a face mask).
