I took my car to a local body shop that specializes in Porsches. They get a lot of their work from Sewickley Porsche, so I feel confident in their credentials and the work they are capable of performing. The owner is also a member of the local PCA chapter.
I brought it there to get a price for deleting the front bumper holes that were necessary for a two plate state sale, which is where the car originated. The PPF was also doing its' job and needs to be replaced. While there I discussed painting the front and rear diffusers to match - GT Silver. I already replaced the side intakes with painted intakes and think it has a much better look for my tastes.
Any opinions on painting the front and rear diffusers to match? I know GTS cars are supposed to have black components, but think the matching paint would have a sleeker look. I'd also have them paint the lower splitter or even replace it with the Cayman splitter which has a more aggressive look. Thoughts?
