I have my Zunsports sitting waiting for my 2019 to arrive. It hits Jacksonville on or about 10/26 with delivery to me end of month or first few in November. This will be my 4th sets of their grilles.

The Center and large sides install cleanly and flush.

The 2 small bottom ones do not. I was told that is how they fit which I find a ridiculous answer. Minor tweaking by the manufacturer could result in a much nicer and secure installation.

For some reason can't figure out how to upload to images.

I put mine on to see how they looked. I know it’s subjective, but I kinda prefer the stock look without the grills. The center one was a little difficult for me to align and clip in properly. I don’t think I had it clipped in correctly, since when I applied light pressure on one side, the grill would move back.

Not sure if I will put them on permanently or sell them at a nice discount.

Are these worth the investment ?
Are they just cosmetic ?
Will the front grills stop a stone taking out the radiator ?
(The only real reason I would consider them)
Is there a chance they could fall out or be knocked out by debris whilst driving?
Will they restrict airflow if they get blocked with leaves ?
The Industrial Unit where they are made / based is very near where I live, I could get them installed on site.

Muppet, I just put a set on my base 2019 Cayman and the major reason for me was to feel secure that they would deflect/stop a stone from damaging the radiators. I'm not sure that is a big problem, but it seems a vulnerability. The cost of repair would probably be several times the investment (my guess). Depending on the size of the debris, I'm thinking they could be knocked out by a hit, however, again, the cost saved from deflecting potential expensive damage seems worthwhile. The weave of the metal grill is large enough to not hinder airflow to a significant degree, IMHO. My engine is not running warmer than before the installation. I was out after installing them on a windy day with leaves, etc., blowing everywhere and impossible to avoid. I can see the potential of something sticking against the grill, just like with a regular car radiator, but nothing did. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I think this may be a worthwhile investment for the two front grills.

I have run Zunsport grilles on my two 981s and now have them on my 718. I have never had them fall out and I have never had a stone or, equally important, gotten leaves and other trash in the radiator areas. My personal opinion is, well worth it. I ran the side grilles on my 2016 Cayman for a couple years after having ingested a leaf into the passenger side intake. Never had an issue after. On the 718s now coming with the grilles on the inside of the intakes, I have chosen at this juncture not to run them but might change my mind down the road.

Zunsport also sells their products through Amazon, which might make it more convenient for U.S. buyers.

That is where I got mine and the shipping was just as fast as ordering direct.

I ordered off the UK website the last 2 times. I found them great to work with...........Heidi is a peach. I have the promo code, too, if anyone wants one. To the question of shipping, I honest forgot. I think it was in the $20K-$30K range. Certainly better with Amazon Prime but I like working directly with Zunsport to make sure that I am getting the right part numbers...........there are a few and you have to be a bit careful picking the exact right one. I usually just say, hey, make sure this will fit my 2019 718 Base.....as an example.

Just fitted mine. Encountered the same issues. The centre grill fits like a glove. It feels like the others were designed by the office junior or someone on a 1 week interneship with an unsteady hand. It's a cack handed deign and for almost £300 sheets a bit of a let down.

NB - Tips:
- Before fitting the grills mark the position of the "clips / hooks". I did this with some blue tape (see picture circled in red). It makes it easier to find the clips to bend into place with a screwdriver afterward without having to guess where they are.

- On the left and right side (GTS) start with the small lower grills. This allows you to guide the mesh and clips / hooks from the apertures above. The hooks can also be clipped in from this angle. Only after fitting the lower grills, fit the top ones.
