Just thought I'd post some interior shots of my white GTS w/18-way sports seats and Alcantara interior package.
Also a couple of shots of the Girodisc rotor upgrade (not that you can see them but I run Raybestos ST-47 Front and ST-45 Rear pads) - Installed 350mm/328mm rotor upgrades, past experience with the stock rotors on my previous 911's, prompted me to change before driving, the stock rotors would not last too many track days, I try to do 10-20 days per year.
Anyways hope these are useful for people looking at the GTS Interior package.

Were you able to increase rotor diameter without having to change the mounting location of the calipers? The car looks too good to go on the track but I’m glad you are going to really use your car. She’s beautiful, best of luck with her.

Girodisc includes the appropriate caliper spacers/longer bolts to accommodate the new rotor diameter increase

How many track days did you get with the Girodisc's on the 911's?

I'm sorry I didn't weigh the Girodisc before installation, but if my memory is correct - when I installed Girodiscs on my 991.2 C2S there was about a negative 3-4lbs difference per wheel, so I would have to assume a similar drop in weight

Did you install the rotors yourself? If so then how did you deal with the electronic hand brake? Do you need any special software, etc, to release the hand brake before removing the rotors?

The bigger rotors do sound like a good idea once your OEM rotors wear out or if you are tracking.

I was wondering can you get the Girodisc rotors drilled for a more OEM look?
Part of the reason for the Girodisc is to get rid of the drilled holes. Drilled rotors don't last as long as they tend to crack between the holes reducing effective life on a tracked car.

I'm just about to order the Girodisc upgrade but have been told the rears are the same size as OEM.

This doesn't sound right to me given your 328mm rears. Can you please confirm?

thanks

Yes. I don't understand why Porsche persist with drilled discs other than looks. Slotted/grooved are generally considered to be the better option.

Probably 2 years too late, but here are the answers.

As long as you have the hand brake disengaged, you will be able to remove the disc after taking off the 2 rotor screws.

how much larger than stock ?
Stock size rotors are 330x34 mm front and 299x20 mm rear. Girodisc is 350mm front and 325mm rear, so a 20mm increase for the front and 26mm increase for the rear.

I'm just about to order the Girodisc upgrade but have been told the rears are the same size as OEM.

As I just stated above, Girodisc upgrades your rotor sizes by 20mm front and 26mm rear; to a final number of 350mm front and 325mm rear.
