Well, I suppose I should introduce myself. Call me Jim. I've owned this lovely thing since July.

It is my second Porsche. My first, if you must know, was a '63 912 which I drove for a year back in '73. A lot of birthdays have gone under the bridge since then..

The car? Oh, it's a base model. Selected from the limited selection on the dealer's lot. Oh my, it's a nice machine. Rhodium silver, with some goodies like 20" wheels, PDK, PDL, Bose audio, 14-way sport seats, a few other niceties.

Good choice and welcome. I too got a winner off the showroom floor, last August and still wash her at least once a week and drive most every day.
