Any help from the experts on this forum would be greatly appreciated. Just bought a 2017 Cayman S with 4000 miles and love the car! However, the following scenarios are happening:

1. No Alarm chirp when I lock it.
2. central locking button on center console light is never on and doesn’t seem to lock doors.
3. I purposely left glove box open and locked car with no warning at all that glove box was open.
4. lights don’t flash at all when locking car. They do flash when I open it. I have Entry and Drive.
any help would be appreciated.

If all doors are closed then locking should give a sound (click or chirp)(unless nothing has been opened), and lights should flash. (Australian cars flash twice for lock, once for unlock. I gather it may be different elsewhere.)
