Hi Everyone,
I am ordering a Boxster in the next few days (hopefully), that would be my first Porsche ever :)
Maybe the most exciting purchase of my life.
Initially planning to replace my old SLK with an Audi TT, I went to Porsche by curiosity ended up I testing the 718 Boxster many times. Felt in love with the handling.
As I write those line I have 3 configurations and really can't decide on the colour ...

Rhodium
Miami Blue
Lava Orange

it has been a month I have been hesitating, which one would you have ?:nerd:

Talk to you all soon !

Welcome to the forums !

I personally don't think the Rhodium does the 718 any justice. I would go with the Lava Orange... the Miami Blue is also a really nice colour as well but I'm in between those two lol
Hi and thanks for the input !
A co-worker tried to talk me out of the Lava orange arguing it would simply be a public display of a potential mid life crisis :)
... I still like the colour these cars need to have something flamboyant otherwise it misses the purpose.

the 718 is a true beauty in orange !!!!

I've got the lava Orange S being built in December with a Feb 17th delivery date :D
Welcome to the forum! Color is such a personal choice. I think the car looks great in any color. I personally love Racing Yellow, but it does scream midlife crisis. Most of the bright colors sort of do. Doesn't mean I don't love them anyway. When I started research on the 718 I was sold on Racing Yellow. Now, I'm leaning towards Night Blue. That's only because I'm thinking I want go in a "classier" direction. By the time I'm ready to order (over a year away) there's no telling what I'll want then. When I pick a color I want something that I'll be ok looking at everyday for 3-5 years.

You can't go wrong with any of the three. If bold is what you want, I don't think the Rhodium gets that. I think it falls into the "classier" category. Of the three, I'd probably get the Miami Blue. On a recent trip to the northeast I passed one on a showroom floor. First one I've seen live. It's pretty. The fact that my current BMW 2 series is Valencia Orange would keep me from getting another orange car next even though I love the Lava Orange, also.

What color interior are you going with?

What color interior are you going with?
Hi!

All your statement is correct ! any colour fits the 718.
Yesterday evening I signed a purchase order for a Rhodium silver with leather Agate grey interior 718 std version.
Options:
- PDK
- Sport Chromo package
- heated Ventilated seat
- bose + connect plus
- LED headlights
- 19" alloys
- Lane change assist
- Cruise control
- Entry and drive
- GT steering wheel
- Multifunction buttons
- black top
- yellow seat belts (its gives it a nice design accent)
- coloured crest on the alloys
- embossed porsche crest on the seat :nerd:

now the worse part is ... delivery by April next year.
I guess I ll post videos and pictures once I receive it.

Rhodium Silver with Agate Grey interior is not a combo I've ever seen before. Can't wait to see that especially with the Racing Yellow seatbelts! What kind of deal are you getting?
That racing yellow seat belt will really pop in that interior and look amazing. GT steering wheel is a great touch as well.

It's probably best you don't listen to that person, who knows what their actual intention was in saying that but ANYONE who has been into Porsche's for a few years will know Orange is one of those colors that does these cars justice... just of course not the Cayenne, Panamera, Macan. 718 or 911 in Orange

That's probably why Porsche can get away with charging $3K extra for Lava Orange. Didn't matter...it was my first chosen option:D
