Just tried a do it yourself ceramic coating "HydroSilex"...easy application with good result

Looks very impressive. Did you detail the car to remove surface imperfections prior to the ceramic coating? Why did you choose HydroSilex? Maybe you can list the steps for our members and method of application.

Paint prepped the car-then clayed the car thoroughly. Applied Requires #7 Glaze(best for black) then applied the ceramic coating by hand. Saw some of the promotions for the HydroSilex and price was reasonable, so I figured it was worth at least a try.
