They certainly brighten up the paint. If they work for you then good choice. They're not my style--but then my whole Boxster is Racing Yellow.?

I'm not a stripe/sticker/emblem person at all, so they wouldn't work for me in any color. And while I like black on yellow, yellow on black is a little too in my face. To follow that a little more, there is a focus in design that something repeats, or connects. There is no other yellow on the car to connect the stripes with. Maybe yellow calipers, or something else that makes it less stand alone.

All my personal taste, and should have no influence on how you feel about them.

I think a 718 in India must stand out in the crowd all by itself (stickers or no stickers!) . By the way, how much is tax there for it?

Don't listen to guys who don't like stripes. If you ask 10 people to choose a color or style for you, you'll get an Average Joe choice. All that matters is that you like the stripes.

True you got it spot on i am planning to get yellow calipers, Matt Black alloys and a 50% tint now I have other daily drivers which are full stock with no add ons at all but this one I really wanted to personalize and enjoy the wilder side of things and I think I would be happier with this customisation and I wanted to share it for opinion as to decide what else I could be missing or doing which now I have a direction of thanks for the contribution.

I like the decal on the door as well, but I think both of them are a bit too much for me. So, I wonder what to do...

I even took the OEM decals off of my Mini Cooper. The Porsche is not a clown car.

Porsches have a long tradition of having graphics such as stripes. Some of the early 911s had front to back striping from the hood to the engine bay. So I'm ok with them in most instances.

Here's two examples. The orange 987 Boxster next to mine is a very track worthy beast of one of our club members. The orange 911 on the end is my friends meticulously restored 1970 E coupe. Two different horses, each having their own individuality for their owners. They are both in Porsche tradition. My car is plain Jane next to them as is the GT3 next to Jay's 1970 911, though the GT3 does have stripes on the sides.
