I have a small but pretty annoying problems on my 2017 718 Boxter. When driving at high speed (in Germany) a sound that sounds like someone blowing a kazoo appears sometimes (but not always) at speeds over 95mph (ish). Passengers seem to think it is coming from around the centre of the dash. The sound is not constant, and varies in pitch so I suspect it's wind related. It happens with the top closed, and it doesn't make any difference whether the aircon is on or off, music is on or off or whether the sports exhaust is on or off.
Sometimes the noise doesn't appear at all, even at much higher speeds into three figures.
It's spoiling the otherwise relaxed high speed cruising ability of the car.
Anyone experience anything similar?
