Hey guys, I notice that on the Porsche website it states "We suggest that you add one bottle of Keropur, into the fuel tank, prior to every complete refuel." To me this is unfathomable as the stuff isn't cheap and it just seems like overkill. I purchased a bottle from ECS Tuning which cost me $24 with their cheapest shipping method. On amazon it's pretty much the same price $22.99 or $25. I can definitely tell the engine is running smoother but I am curious what you guys think is the best approach to this. Maybe every 1000 miles or 2000 miles but certainly not ever 350 miles right?

There's nothing in my manual about that. The only mention of fuel additives is when the fuel deposition rate does not meet requirements/specifications! Is fuel in the US that bad?

Aha. Nice catch indeed.
Notice also (emphasis added): "Keropur fuel additive has been developed specifically for Porsche engines, and is recommended by the Porsche factory. Widely applicable to all previous generation of Porsche models, Keropur is pure care for Porsche engines;"
Despite Aus petrol being reasonably (or maybe unreasonably!) high in sulphur (less so in the 98 RON) Keropur is apparently not available here.
